Absolutely not! Our Recreational Camps are the perfect entry point for children who may love to dance at home (who doesn’t love a kitchen dance party?) and are curious about exploring dance further. Our recreational camps are also suitable for children who have already discovered their love of dance and want to delve deeper into it!

Anything comfortable that they can move in! If your camper has dancewear they are welcome to attend camp in it. Otherwise, you’re looking to dress them in comfortable, breathable clothing that doesn’t mind getting a little messy.

Please bring indoor shoes for your camper to wear. We do not permit outdoor shoes in our studios. Dance shoes are also welcome if your camper already has them!

We understand that some campers may be scared of certain scenes/themes or have limited screen time.

We will watch a portion of the film each day during the allotted time in the schedule.

We always have an alternative activity, such as colouring or crafts, available in a separate space for campers who wish to skip the movie.

If you know your camper would like to participate in the alternative activity, please communicate it to our on-site staff.

Please arrive at 3:45pm on Friday for the show! Dancers will share what they have learned over the week in a mini showcase.

After you register via our online store, you will receive an automated confirmation email from our registration system. You will receive an information package via email one week before the camp’s start date.

Withdrawals from camp programs must be made at least two weeks prior to the start date for a full refund, minus an administration fee of $25.00. All withdrawals must be submitted via email to info@charbarts.com. This email will determine the official withdrawal date.

For camps, no refunds will be processed after this date.
