CAS COMPANY

Our Company seeks to define the importance of the collective assembly as more than young dancers coming together to distract themselves from life, or to simply achieve a special status.
We believe joining our Company is an opportunity to feel connected to something bigger than oneself, to feel joy, meaning and validation by their peers. One of the ways we work toward this goal is by providing performance experiences for our CAS community and the Greater Toronto Area. Each year our goal is to find interesting and innovative ways to reach others through the arts. Our Company performs at competitions, festivals, fundraisers, parades, TDSB school functions, neighbourhood retirement homes, as well as partnerships with neighbouring businesses, flash mobs, and other special events in the city.
The CAS Company stream is created for dancers who want the opportunity to perform more than once a year and advance their performance and dance training.

CAS Company provides a dedicated platform for passionate dancers seeking to enhance their skills and gain more stage experience through full-time competitive performances. During Company classes, dancers train in Acro, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Jazz under various in-house and guest choreographers. Each Company works on a select number of ensemble pieces to be performed in our Winter Showcase as well as dance competitions. CAS Company members are given the opportunity to be selected for lead roles in our Annual End-of-Year Recital.
Dancers accepted into CAS Company will:
Be considered to submit to ABT® Examinations at the discretion of the Director
Perform in our annual Winter and End-of-Year Recitals
Participate in 3 Dance Competitions with the opportunity to apply for solos, duos, or trios at the discretion of the Director
At the discretion of the Director, participate in Dance Conventions or other dance education opportunities
